The University of Girona agrees to nominate Mr Jaume Aragall Garriga, tenor, for an honorary doctorate degree of the UdG, for his contribution to the development of poetry as a performer and as a teacher, for the exceptional quality of his voice and its dramatic capacity, for the honesty in his career and for linking the territory of Girona and the University of Girona, by agreement of the Executive Council in ordinary session 5/96, of 24 July 1996, at the proposal of the Faculty of Arts.
