Social Commitment Area

It is through Volunteering that our University aims to influence the development of cross-cutting skills and competencies among students which promote their comprehensive development and contribute to their education as socially active and responsible citizens. This enables the university to be perceived as an ethically and socially committed to and involved with the region, thanks to its contribution to solidarity, fairness and social justice.

Given the measures set out in “scenario 5, prolonged closure of the UdG” of the Response Plan for COVID-19, all solidarity activities and face-to-face training courses organised by the Unit of Social Commitment have been suspended.Similarly, all deadlines relating to applications and justifications of cooperation projects remain frozen until the state of emergency is lifted.
