Bellapart is a worldwide company located in les Preses (La Garrotxa), with headquarters in London, Paris and Miami. Specialising in design and construction engineering, manufacturing and devising innovative and complex architectural solutions; with an extremely high knowledge of glass, light structures, composites and every kind of high-technology materials.

The last few years have seen Bellapart noted for making investments in equipment, technology and R&D, allowing them to take part in large innovative projects and earn recognition as an internationally prestigious company. It is with this ambition for maintaining and promoting an international leadership well rooted in the Girona region that Bellapart aims to go ahead, as a patron, with the establishment of this chair at the University of Girona, to foster generation, specialist training and dissemination of knowledge, to society, relating to light structures and glass.
