FEES FOR THE COURSE 2013-2015

EU citizen's tuition fee is 2.667 euros per year (5.334 euros for the two year EMTM programme).
Non-EU citizen's tuition fee is 7.000 euros per year (14.000 euros for the two year EMTM programme).
 

SCHOLARSHIPS AND COFINANCING

 

Erasmus Mundus scholarships

There are two types of Erasmus Mundus scholarships, Category A and Category B scholarship.

It should be noted that the Category A scholarships are considered as “full scholarships” covering all necessary costs incurred by the student during his/her study period in Europe, Category B scholarships are considered as a “financial contribution” to the student´s costs while following his/her EMTM studies.

For the academic year 2013/2015 of the European Master in Tourism Management, the following scholarships will be granted to the best applicants:

  • Erasmus Mundus Category A scholarships (one scholarship is exclusively reserved for an applicant from Turkey & Western Balkan Window countries)
  • Erasmus Mundus Category A scholarships for student(s) from "Tunisia and Egypt";
  • Erasmus Mundus Category A scholarships for student(s) from the "Eastern Neighbourhood Countries" (i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus,  Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine);
  • Erasmus Mundus Category B scholarships

The number of scolarships will be announced as soon as it is officially communicated by EACEA to EMTM Consortium.

 

Erasmus Mundus Category A scholarship

  • 1,000€ per month for two years (24,000€)
  • 8,000€ for mobility
  • Tuition fees which are paid by the EU to the EMTM coordinating institution.

Erasmus Mundus Category B scholarship

  • 500€ per month for two years (12,000€)
  • Tuition fees which are paid by the EU to the EMTM coordinating institution.
  • 3000€ for mobility (only in case the Cat B grantee spends his/her 4th semester at SYS University China - associate university partner of EMTM)

Erasmus Mundus Category A scholarship – are awarded to students selected by EMTM consortia, who are nationals of a Third Country (all countries outside the EU Member States, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland), who have not carried out their main activity (studies, research or work) for more than 12 non-consecutive months over the last 5 years in one of the 27 EU Member States, Liechtenstein, Norway or Iceland. (Switzerland, Western Balkan and Turkey are third country students and are eligible for cat. A).

Erasmus Mundus Category B scholarship – are awarded to students selected by EMTM consortia, who are nationals of one of the 27 European Member States, Liechtenstein, Norway or Iceland or any third country students who has spent at least 12 (non-consecutive) months, over the last 5 years, working, studying or doing research in one of the 27 EU Member States, Liechtenstein, Norway or Iceland. (Switzerland is a third country and can only be considered for Cat. B if the Swiss students fall under the 12-month rule).

 

Students can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship to the Erasmus Mundus Master Course of their choice but the number of the applications is limited to maximum three courses.

Individuals who have already beneffited from an Erasmus Mundus Master Course scholarship are NOT eligible for a second scholarship in order to follow the same or another Erasmus Mundus Master Course.

Students beneffiting from Erasmus Mundus Master Course scholarship cannot benefit from another European Union grant while pursuing their Erasmus Mundus masters studies.
