  • EU citizen's tuition fee is 2,667 euros per year (5,334 euros for the two year EMTM programme).
  • Non-EU citizen's tuition fee is 7,000 euros per year (14,000 euros for the two year EMTM programme).

Erasmus+ Joint Master Degree (JMD) Partner Country scholarships

Erasmus+ JMD Partner Country scholarships are awarded to applicants selected by the EMTM consortium who are nationals of a Partner Country (all countries outside the 28 EU Member States, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey) and who are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than 12 non-consecutive months over the last 5 years in one of the 28 EU Member States, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.

The scholarships will include the students' participation costs (including the tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the students' participation in the course), a contribution to student travel and installation cost and a subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the JMD study programme. Details on the scholarship amounts are given in the table below:

 

Contribution to the participation costs

 

Tuition fees, full insurance coverage and other costs related to the students’ participation in the course are paid by the European Commission to the EMTM coordinating institution.

 

 

Contribution to the travel and installation costs

2,000 € per year for travel costs + 1,000 € for installation costs for scholarship holder resident of a Partner Country whose location is situated at less than 4,000 km from the JMD coordinating HEI.

 

3,000 € per year for travel costs + 1,000 € for installation costs for scholarship holder resident of a Partner Country whose location is situated at 4,000 km or more from the JMD coordinating HEI.

 

Contribution to subsistence costs

1,000 € per month for the entire duration of the JMD study programme (24 months maximum). Contribution to subsistence costs will not be given to the scholarship holders for the JMD (study /research /placement / thesis preparation) periods spent in their country of residence.

 

Students applying for a scholarship are not allowed to submit a scholarship application to more than three JMD Consortia.

Students who have already obtained a JMD scholarship or an Erasmus Mundus Master Course scholarship are not eligible to apply for a second scholarship under the Erasmus+ JMD programme.

Students benefiting from a JMD scholarship cannot benefit from another European Union grant while pursuing their master’s studies.

Students who are nationals of Programme Countries (all countries within the 28 EU Member States, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey) are not eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ JMD Partner Country scholarship.

Erasmus+ JMD Partner Country scholarships available for course 2015-2017

The maximum number of Erasmus+ JMD Partner Country scholarships available for course 2015-2017 will be 6 scholarships.

These numbers are provisional and subject to change. The final quantity of scholarships will be known by February 2015.
