The website of the University of Girona has a clear service mission: a vocation to serve the University community and anyone and everyone interested in knowing our University better.

For the UdG, this website is a tool that helps us see the dynamism of academic life and research activity here, a tool that provides homogeneity to a harmonic whole formed by diverse elements: faculties and schools, departments, institutes, chairs, foundations, etc.

At the same time, the website is an instrument conceived so that students—through La Meva UdG— can have access to teaching resources on the horizon of the European Higher Education Area, are up to date with new developments affecting them and can take advantage of information that will make life on campus more enjoyable. The website must also serve the workers of the UdG—teaching staff and administrative and service personnel—so that they can perform their jobs in a more efficient, modern and comfortable way.

The website of the UdG is at the same time a showcase of what we are and what we want to be, of what we have been, of the history that shows us the way, of the present that we are helping to change, of the future that we design in accordance with the interests of society in Girona.
