A UK company seeks to further develop its successful data analytics platform by requesting international technology collaborations. Technical expertise is requested in the fields of semantic search, natural language processing, data scraping, seeding, data visualization or presentation technologies and even artificial intelligence or machine learning may be applicable.

This UK company was formed in 2015, it has developed a data analytics platform which uses its own technology to interrogate large data sets and present findings in a user friendly format.
The company has established itself as a provider of bespoke data analytics, data consultancy and software architecture to a number of high profile private businesses and internationally known public organisations.
The directors of the company have an in-depth understanding of the latest generation of advanced data solutions and technologies. They are also very experienced business people who are leading practitioners in strategic management and business innovation processes.
The core data analytics platform they have created encompasses:
- Data acquisition, scraping, integration processes;
- Semantic search, Natural language processing (NLP);
- Advanced analytics and ontologies;
- Data visualisation tools to optimise insight and decision making.
This company wishes to create long-term collaborations to incorporate further ideas and share knowledge, develop technologies and to gain insight into a variety of fields or projects that may enhance the functionality or user experience provided by the current system.
The aim of the collaboration is to develop the platform into the leading system of its type globally.
The platform is specifically being targeted at medium to large businesses and organisations, i.e. below the typical large, multinational analytics software user marketplace.
The management team is specifically exploring commercial data analytics applications in functional areas/sectors including not-for-profit organisations, healthcare and wellbeing, education, business to business direct marketing and human resources technology.
Key potential UK and international channel partners are in discussions with the company regarding potential future co-developments of specific applications of the platform.
Potential partners may be secured through a technology licensing agreement - if the technology is complete and ready for application.
Alternatively, a research co-operation agreement or a subcontracted development contract would be considered if the technology required further modification to meet the needs of the company.
If the technology owner wishes to be involved in the longer-term, a joint venture or a technical cooperation agreement would also be an option.
A variety of funding options will be considered to underpin the collaboration such as commercial agreements, technical sharing agreements or project funding from a variety of international research funds.
The company is willing to be very flexible regarding technology cooperation agreements, organizational types, funding and financing arrangements.
The company would consider making a collaborative grant application with the selected partner(s) – for example, a EUREKA Eurostars application.
