The conference 'Bioengineering for Healthy Ageing. Adding Life to Years' will highlight the challenges an ageing population will have to face in terms of health and wellbeing and the possible solutions bioengineering can provide. Technology will revolutionize healthcare and assistance to aged people: mHealth, robotics for assisted living, point of care diagnostics and regenerative therapies. Some of the top international experts on biomedical engineering and regenerative medicine will participate in the conference, co-organized by B·Debate −an initiative by Biocat and “La Caixa” Foundation − and the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC).
