Activitats d'avaluació: Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % PBL tutorial evaluation Note: This hour, included within the second hour of the last session of the third problem corresponds to the evaluation of the problem sessions. Qualification will be obtained as follows: Learning Abilities (25%) Communication (25%) Responsibility (25%) Interpersonal Relationship (25%) 50 Written essay and oral presentation The assesment consists on the evaluation of the written essay and oral presentation. Content (essay): 70% Clarity of written expression, conciseness and legibility (essay): 15% Clarity of oral expression, attitude, ability to answear questions: 15% Assistance to the whole oral presentation session is mandatory for all the students. 50
The PBL sessions can not be re-taken and a qualification below 50/100 means that the course is not aproved. The written essay can be improved and submitted to evaluation only once after the oral presentation. In the case of remaking the written essay, the qualification for this can not be higher than 50% of the maximum qualification. In case that the remade work is passed, this qualification will be averaged with the qualification obtained in the PBL sessions evaluation. The act of “seeing” is inseparable from medical training. Physicians are constantly required to “look for” signs and symptoms from the human body, describe what is being observed, and make diagnosis. The skills of observation, description, and interpretation of visual information are inherent in the artistic creative process and art appreciation. Through the examination of artworks, this course aims to improve the students’ visual literacy and attention to details, and to foster the ability to transfer these skills to the clinical setting. In addition, the students will be exposed to artistic depictions of health-related issues in different social and historical backgrounds.
