The UdG hosted the periodic meeting of the fib Task Group 2.1 “Serviceability Models” on 22 January 2018. The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) is committed to advancing the technical, economic, aesthetic and environmental performance of concrete structures worldwide. Dra. Cristina Barris and Lluis Torres from AMADE group participate actively in 2 fib TG. The University of Girona hosted the winter meeting of the fib Task Group 2.1 “Serviceability models”. The meeting took place on 22 January 2018 with the participation of 17 members. The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) is formed by 45 national member groups and approximately 1,000 individual or corporate members. It is a not-for-profit association committed to advancing the technical, economic, aesthetic and environmental performance of concrete structures worldwide. The main current objectives of Task Group 2.1 are the publications of technical reports on long-term behaviour of bridges and effects of restrained and imposed deformations, as well as the contribution to preparation of the new “Model Code for Concrete Structures” Model Code 2020 (MC2020).
