Employment Guidance

Individual orientation sessions aimed at defining the route to employment and giving support at different moments in the job-seeking process.
These are delivered at the request of the applicant, and last for 1 hour. You can get in touch directly in order to arrange a day and a time.

From the Job Bank we will assist you in your search for a job.

Occupational guidance is a Service of the Job Bank directed towards helping place students and university graduates in employment . It involves offering activities in support of joining the labour market to students and graduates registered with the Job Bank.

Activities offered

Monogràfics

Training sessions of 2 hours’ duration that take place in the CIAE, in groups of 12 using a very practical methodology. Specialist sessions.

Types of specialist sessions offered: 

  • Where to look for work: my career plan, where to go to look for work, search channels...
  • CV and Letter of Introduction: what is necessary to put in a CV, how to write a letter of introduction, what are speculative applications, to whom should a CV be addressed...
  • Psychometric tests: what they are, types, what they are like, what they measure, how they work...
  • Selection interview: what types there are, what they can ask me, how I can prepare...
  • Labour relations: employment contracts, payroll, social security, collective agreements, when I can claim unemployment benefits
Taking part in one Specialist Session does not mean you have to take part in them all, i.e. you can participate in one, two, three, four or all five, according to your interest and availability.

If you are interested in taking part in any of the programmed activities, consult the Calendar of activities to put your name down for the activity that interests you.

Routes to employment - Group workshops

Orientation sessions with the aim of working out a route to employment, defining one’s potential and career plan, and finding out about emplyoyment networks and mechanisms, as well as basic notions of conduct at work.

Each Group Workshop has a total duration of 10 hours, 2 hours daily over 5 days. Workshops take place in the CIAE, in groups of 8 using a very practical methodology.

Individual tuition
