Dr Josep Costa Balanzat

The overall scientific direction of the RTS, in accordance with the science policy designated by the Vice-Rector for Science Policy and the RTS Council.
Managing the RTS.
Appointed by the Vice-Rector for Research to represent the RTS before university authorities and bodies, businesses and other institutions.
Establishing agreements with other public or private institutions for the use of equipment and installations of the RTS, with the supervision of the technical director and the approval of the Vice-Rector for Science Policy
Active membership on the RTS Council, calling and coordinating its meetings in accordance with the president, and approving the minutes of the meetings.
Submitting proposals to be considered and approved by the RTS Council.
Proposing to the RTS Council the creation and reorganisation of the units that make up the RTS.
Proposing to the RTS Council any changes to the organisational chart of the RTS, in accordance with the head of the RTS.
Overseeing compliance with these and other internal regulations.
