What is a technology springboard?
A technology springboard (TT) is an entity that supports the creation of knowledge based companies.
Its mission is to help entrepreneurs market their inventions, which can be the result of university research (researchers and doctoral students) or can originate from ideas of students and of personnel of the institution.
The aims of the Technology Springboard Network are:
- Promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in close proximity to where new business concepts are born: universities of science, technology centres and business management schools.
- Promoting the creation of research centres that attract business projects in their most embryonic phases to help convert them into solid undertakings and to facilitate networking with the key elements, including incubators, consultants and venture capital.
