It is the username and password that identify the student in all the electronic services of the UdG (except the UdGRemote Service).

Format of the username:

The username consists of the letter u followed by the UdG number (7 digits).  Example: u1234567

The administrative and service personnel (PAS) who already have an account maintain their usernames in the original format (first name followed by surname).

What services does it offer?

• Access to the computer rooms.
• Email. 
• Access to La Meva UdG. 
• Online secretary’s office. 
• Other electronic services that require user identification.
  

To access these services you must enter La Meva UdG.

How long is it valid?

• STUDENTS: The same account is maintained until the student completes his/her studies.
• TEACHING STAFF and PAS: The account is maintained until the contract with the UdG is terminated. 
• OTHER GROUPS: The account is maintained until any connection with the UdG is terminated.
  

How do you get one?

New students:

• You will receive your personal account when you register, at the moment you have your photo taken.

Students who were already registered last year.

• Using the same password as last year.

TEACHING STAFF and PAS

• You will receive your username and initial password the same day that you sign your contract.

OTHER GROUPS

• The secretary’s office of the unit with which you are associated will provide you with your personal account data.

How do you change the password of your Personal Account?

If you have forgotten your password

• You must go to the computer office of any faculty or school of the UdG and request the change, having identified yourself with your DNI or UdG identity card.

If you know your current password

• You can change your password from the utilities menu of La Meva UdG.

Responsibilities of the account:

• The account is personal and non-transferable.
• Each user is responsible for his/her account and for any actions taken with it. 
• If misuse of this service is detected, the offending user will be immediately removed from the user list and, if necessary, regulations of the University of Girona and of existing legislation will be enforced.
  

All the pages of the UdG website have an area in the upper right hand corner for user identification. Once you have identified yourself, you will have access to the internal web – the intranet – of the University of Girona.
