Introductions to the various techniques, with theoretical explanations (in the service facilities or sometimes in a classroom) for students. UdG instructors must contact the corresponding technician.

Final year students completing credits in research work and doctoral students are trained to use a restricted number of techniques themselves. The instructor in charge must contact the corresponding technician.

Guided visits to the Technical Services, with explanations of the use made of various techniques available through the service.
