Stephanie Wilbrand has completed a Geography Degree at the University of Girona (2004). She is currently working on a Doctorate in Environmental Studies (specialising in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management). She is a research fellow of the Geography unit of the University of Girona (UdG) and holds a DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma). She is currently writing her doctoral thesis entitled Landscape policies: Comparative study between Europe and USA, under the supervision of Doctor Joan Nogué Font.
She is a member of the Laboratory of Landscape Analysis and Management Research Group and of the Environment Institute.
She has widened her research work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison (USA). Her research is geared towards landscape and landscape policies. Within this field she has focused on the evolution and transformation of landscape through Landscape Policies in order to protect, manage and plan the landscape.
