BURCH RIUS, Josep

Research lines: Iberian and Roman archaeology; Cultural heritage
The main research lines upon which he has focused are the following: firstly, archaeology from the Iberian and Roman world and, secondly, archaeological heritage. In the case of the former, he has made a significant contribution to the study and excavation of the Iberian settlements of Sant Julià de Ramis and Sant Sebastià de la Guarda. Also within this field, his research has focused on the study of cereal storage in silos. As regards the second line of research, he has taken part in several projects which together aim to study the valuation of archaeological heritage.
