BOTO VARELA, Gerardo

Gerardo Boto Varela (Leon, 1967) is a Doctor in History of Art (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 1998) and has been a lecturer in History of Mediaeval Art at the University of Girona since 1995. He is co-director of the annual Colloquia Studium Medievale. Cultura visual – Cultura escrita (Besalú) and is responsible for the research project of the M.E.C. entitled Morphogenesis and functional organisation of ecclesiastic spaces in the Hispanic Central Middle Ages. Technological and documentary analyses of the architecture of canonical communities (pending resolution).
