Lecturer
in History of Art of the University of Girona since 1986. She began her
research after completing a Degree in History of Art of Catalonia at
the University of Barcelona (1981), obtaining significant results in
her project on the influence of Central-European engravers on an
important Modern Period sculptural collection in Catalonia. She
continued her research by applying iconographic methodology to Baroque
altarpiece work in Catalonia and North Catalonia (1675-1725), the
subject of her doctoral thesis at the Autonomous University of
Barcelona (1990), and has widened her studies to include the field of
cultural heritage, achieving significant results.
Furthermore, she directed and coordinated General Study no. 10: Girona Revisited: Studies on Medieval and Modern Art (1990). She has directed the following projects: Intervention in artistic, architectural and documentary heritage in the counties of Girona 1936-1975 (1997-98) and Innovation in teaching and introduction to research
(2002-2004) for the study of the archives of the Prado held in the
Museum of Art of Girona. She has also been the scientific director of
the following projects: The cultural heritage of Pla de l’Estany (2003-2005) and The cultural heritage of Sant Celoni (2006).
In the field of administration, she has been the Academic Secretary of
the Institute of Cultural Heritage of the University of Girona
(1999-2002).
