    Options:

    - Dalí Museum in Figueres and Cadaqués village and Cap de Creus

The Dalí Museum was inaugurated in 1974. It contains a broad spectrum of works covering the artistic career of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989), from his early artistic experiences and his creations within the sphere of surrealism through to works dating from the last year of his life.

Some of the most outstanding works on exhibition are Port Alguer (1924), The Spectrum of Sex Appeal (1932), Soft Self-Portrait with Fried Bacon (1941), Poetry from America, the Cosmic Athletes (1943), Galarina (1944-1945), The Bread Basket (1945), Atomic Leda (1949) and Galatea of the Spheres (1952).
We might also note the sets of work the artist created expressly for the Theatre-Museum, such as the Mae West room, the Palace of the Wind room, Monument to Francesc Pujols and Rainy Cadillac.

It was conceived of and designed by the artist in order to offer visitors a genuine experience that would take them into his entrancing and unique world.

Cadaqués is a municipality situated in the North of the Girona Region. The fact that Cadaqués is in the middle of solid mountains in touch with the sea, made that the village came off practically isolated from the rest of the European continent until finals of the XIX Century, where its only exit was the sea.

As places of interest, we can find the Old Town, surrounded by the walls of the village; el Cap de Creus, a natural park with fantastic views; and Portlligat, a natural place. Also, we can find some little beaches, such as Cala Portaló, Cala Culip, Cala Fredosa, Cala Jugadora and Cala de Guillola. Finally, as typical products, the anchovies are well-known.

    - Besalú and Volcanic Natural Park of La Garrotxa

Besalú is a town in the Garrotxa region, covering an area of 4.81 km2. Bisuldunum, as its origins suggest, was a fortress between two rivers: the Fluvià in the south and the Capellades in the north. Well communicated, Besalú is located at the meeting point of three regions: Alt Empordà, Pla de l'Estany and Garrotxa. Besalú began to gain importance as the capital of an independent county following the death of Guifré el Pilós (902); it lost this status with the death of Bernat III- son-in-law of Ramon Berenguer III- leaving no survivors. As a result, Besalú became part of Barcelona. In 1966, it was declared a "National Historic-Artistic Ensemble" due to its high architectural value. As points of interest in Besalú, we can find the Bridge and the Synagogue from the Jewish.

The Volcanic Region of La Garrotxa Natural Park (PNZVG) is a highly humanised protected area which does not fit in with the general image we have of a protected area; such an image is either associated to a public space organised to promote and facilitate leisure and recreational activities, or to a protected area for the preservation of fauna species.

It is the best preserved volcanic region in the Iberian Peninsula. There are more than 40 active volcanos with quiescent eruptions (effusive), not very explosive (Strombolian) and very explosive (phreatomagmatic). There are also dormant volcanoes, but not extinct. In more than 20, lava flows. We can find a very rich flora: about 1,173 flowering plants, diverse plant life with holm oak, oak and beech woods, 257 vertebrate species
and a very singular, serene and balanced landscape.

    - Walking trip around the Banyoles Lake and Soldados de Salamina route

The Banyoles Lake represents the identity of this village. It is the most extended space of this characteristics in the Iberian Peninsula, with a great geological, ecological, landscape and cultural value. You can have a bath in the lake or have a nice “walk” by its boats.

    More info: www.banyoles.cat.

The Routes of Salamina consist of several itineraries on foot by the territories of Palol de Revardit, Sant Miquel de Campmajor and Cornellà del Terri. These zones are the main stages of the novel of Javier Cercas and the film of David Trueba: Soldados de Salamina. In 2007, the Local Board of the Pla de L'Estany continues offering the possibility to participate in visits commented on through these routes. In a ludic, participative and dynamic way, we will be able to know some of the episodes that took place in the region during the Civil War as well as its cultural and natural patrimony.

    - Walking trip through the coastal area: Camí de Ronda (path of round) from Lloret de Mar to Tossa de Mar

This is a route of hiking, with a distance of 15 km and a low difficulty. The duration is three hours and 30 minutes approximately, by a sand path. The starting point is the Sea Museum (Museu del Mar) of Lloret de Mar, to arrive to Tossa de Mar, a nice village of the Costa Brava.

There are signals during the walk to guide you, and during the visit, there are some points of interest to visit such as some little beaches, castles, Iberian settlements and, finally, the village of Tossa de Mar.
