Masters and doctorates of the University of Girona are organised in five official postgraduate programmes:

1. Official Postgraduate Programme in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability
2. Official Postgraduate Programme in Human and Cultural Sciences
3. Official Postgraduate Programme in Educational and Health Social Sciences
4. Official Postgraduate Programme in Technology
5. Official Postgraduate Programme in Tourism, Law and Business

Each one includes a series of masters and offers related lines of research to students who wish to complete doctorates in them.

Instruction in the masters and doctoral programmes is organised in an academic structure similar to all the Official Postgraduate Programmes —in modules that can be common to all programmes, specialised, practical or related to research work.
