The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Construction, located in the Escola Politècnica Superior, brings together the professors and researchers at the University of Girona in six knowledge areas.

TEACHING The Department offers courses in the Degrees of the Escola Politècnica Superior and has got its own doctorate and masters programs and post-graduate courses.

RESEARCH The research activities are carried out by three groups: Analysis and Advanced Materials for Structural Design (AMADE), Research Group in Fluid Engineering and Environmental Science (GREFEMA) and Research Group in Process, Product and Production Engineering. (GREPP).
