Culture at the UdG: theatre, singing, castellers
The UdG actively participates in the cultural life of Girona, either playing a leading role or providing institutional support for many other initiatives in Girona.
At the same time, within the UdG, students can participate in activities directly related with culture, such as those organised annually by the Aula de Teatre (annual productions, organised shows, seminars and courses) and the choir (concerts during academic functions and other events, international exchanges). Students also get involved in cultural activities organised by fellow students in literary, cinematographic and musical associations, among others..
The Xoriguers human tower group (colla castellera) of the UdG organises human tower festivals with the participation of other university groups and participates in public and university-related events.
