Voluntary and caring workers
The University of Girona has made a strong commitment to cooperation for development and to volunteerism. The Office for Cooperation for Development invites you to join them as a volunteer in their various activities or to help generate new ideas.
In terms of cooperation for development, the Office promotes Rigoberta Menchú mobility grants and cooperation for development projects, relief aid in emergency situations, consciousness raising and training for the university community and other campaigns. Material transfers.
In the area of volunteerism the Office maintains a listing of volunteering opportunities, carries out consciousness raising and training activities for the university community and promotes participation in UdG volunteering projects and in those in collaboration with other entities and organisations.

RELATED WITH COOPERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT: literacy and basic education, eradicating poverty, promoting health, covering basic social and infrastructural needs, developing the social fabric, promoting peace, environmental sustainability, developing entrepreneurial capacities, defending human rights, women’s rights and indigenous people’s rights, protecting children, promoting fair trade and scientific and technological equity, as well as other activities the Office is interested in.
